โ€œIt is time to rise and shine and handle your business DeeDee.โ€ So I jumped up eager to get my day going. I decided last week that I was going to get to the gym before things got too busy so I did. Then I had to leave for a lunch date with a new friend, but before I could walk out the door for lunch I get a text saying, โ€œCan you bring me a banana please?โ€ Oh no! I have someone staying at my home for a few days that had surgery, and I wanted to be able to assist her, but I totally forgot that she was even there! Lol! Backtrack; make sure sheโ€™s taken care of, then off to my lunch date. Came back home to start my new class that began today. So, I was in the process of reading, completing a writing assignment and trying to enjoy life all at the same time. Schoolwork is done so now itโ€™s time to handle some things for my Godโ€™s Glamorous Girls conference thatโ€™s coming up in July where I expect to see all of you there. Then while I’m sitting and doing schoolwork, my dog comes up behind me and starts regurgitating everything that he had eaten earlier which included plenty of grass. Yuck! After cleaning up this yucky green stuff off the floor, I readjust my fallen eyelash and jump in front of a camera to prepare for a webinar where Mike and I speak to pastors that are connected to us. Did he just ask me what are we going to eat? Yes, he did! Thank God for my dad who had prepared food while we were on the call. So I scurry to eat so I can sit down and write this blog that was supposed to go out on Monday but will now go out on Tuesday instead. Needless to say, it was a very busy day.

I was presented with two choices, to feel overwhelmed or take it in stride and keep it moving. How many of you know I chose the latter? I refuse to allow the enemy to have any of my emotional time. It is too costly to give it away free. Plus he doesnโ€™t deserve my emotions. For years I gave my feelings away at no cost to him, but it cost me greatly because I let my emotional state control a lot of my choices. Today I wanted to write you to encourage you in all that you do. Sometimes you may feel a little spent and tired, but child of God our Father has graced us to handle all that we do. So hold your head high, square your shoulders back, and put that pep back in your step knowing that if it is in your life, you can handle it. Every day you have to decide to enjoy life to its fullest and not allow the cares of this world to suck you dry. Sometimes you canโ€™t plan for the unexpected but you can decide how you will respond emotionally. Who told you that everything has to be done now? I have decided that what needs to be done I will get done and what canโ€™t I will not stress over it. Live, Laugh, and Love Life on purpose today! I love you, my sister!

Send this blog to everyone you know that could use some encouragement.

Here are a few scripture affirmations for you to meditate on:

God, you are my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; You make my feet like hinds’ feet and make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! Habakkuk 3:19 AMP

You will guard me and keep me in perfect and constant peace as my mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because I commit myself to You, lean on You, and hope confidently in You. Isaiah 26:3

Godโ€™s peace [is mine, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
